Jena

-Jena was a DSG gymnast from 1993-2006, competing to USAG Level 8 and for Mandan Braves Varsity.
-She has coached recreational gymnastics at DSG (Since 2005) and American Gold Gymnastics (Fargo in 2009), competitive levels 4-9 at DSG (Since 2006-2009, 2010-present), and high school gymnastics for Mandan High (2012-2014).
-Job Training, Education, and Certification
  *USAG Level 8-10 skill training in Amherst, New Hampshire in 2010 with former DSG Head Coach Juston Ziegler.

Christine

-Christine was a DSG gymnast from ages 8-14, reaching USAG level 6 before retiring. She competed for Mandan Braves Varsity Gymnastics her senior year of high school after a three year break from competitive gymnastics.
-Christine has been coaching at DSG since 2009.

Brigitte
Office Assistant & Rec. Coordinator

Birthday: January 27
Gymnastics and job experience:
-Brigitte coached recreational gymnastics at DSG for 4 years (Since 2007) before becoming the office assistant in 2011 and Recreational Coordinator in 2012.
-Brigitte was also a BSC student-coach for MHS soccer.

Collegiate ambitions: Brigitte has earned an Associate’s Degree from BSC.
FUN FACT: Brigitte has a twin brother, who is a foot taller than her!

Kati
Recreational Coach****

Birthday: August 16
Gymnastics and job experience:
-Kati was a DSG gymnast from ages 3-13, reaching USAG Level 8 before retiring.
-She was a main proponent in the reinstatement of Mandan Braves Gymnastics in
2012, being the first to reach out to DSG and the Mandan Activities Director. Kati was voted team captain for the Braves Varsity Gymnastics team and qualified for the NDHSAA State Meet on Floor and Beam after a four year break from competitive gymnastics.
-Kati has been coaching at DSG since 2010.

Schools: Mary Stark Elementary; Mandan Junior High School; Mandan Middle School; Mandan Senior High School
Collegiate ambitions: Kati graduated from the Hair Academy in Bismarck and is currently a stylist at D'Fine in Mandan.
Favorite aspect of gymnastics/coaching: Kati enjoys watching kids improve and work hard.
FUN FACT: “I was the first team captain of the Braves gymnastics team!”

Sara
"Away-for College" Coach****

(She coaches when she's home for college on holidays, breaks, and during the summer.)

Birthday: March 3
Gymnastics and job experience:
-Sara was a DSG gymnast from ages 7-13, reaching USAG levels 6 before retiring. She returned to compete for Mandan Braves Varsity Gymnastics in 2012. 
-Sara has been coaching at DSG since 2011. 

Other interests: “Eating and I love going on trips.”
Schools: St. Joseph’s School; Mandan Middle School; Mandan Senior High School. Sara is currently attending college in Kansas!
Favorite aspect of gymnastics/coaching: “Being in shape and having fun with friends.”
FUN FACT: Sara volunteers at the humane society.

Marissa
"Away-for College" Coach

Birthday: December 30
Gymnastics and job experience:
-Marissa was a DSG gymnast for 5 years, reaching USAG Level 5 before retiring. She came out of retirement in 2012 to become an original member of the new Mandan Braves Varsity gymnastics team.
-Marissa has been coaching at DSG since 2011.

Other interests: Watching movies; reading books; eating

Favorite aspect of gymnastics/coaching: Marissa loves that gymnastics incorporates grace with athleticism.

McKynzie
Recreational Coach

Birthday: November 8
Gymnastics and job experience:
-McKynzie was a DSG gymnast from 3 years old to 6th grade, reaching USAG Level 5 before retiring.
-She coached at Dickinson Gymnastics Club during high school. She has been coaching at DSG since 2014.
-McKynzie has also worked as a babysitter, in customer service, and with the elderly.

Other sport interests: Cheerleading
Schools: Custer Elementary, Berg Elementary, Hagen Jr. High, Dickinson High School. McKynzie is currently attending classes at Bismarck State College with plans to earn a degree in Speech Pathology in order to help little kids.
Favorite aspect of gymnastics/coaching: “I love being around kids and seeing their smiling faces!”
FUN FACT: “I have a skin condition called Vitiligo. There are areas of my skin that don’t have enough pigment, so therefore it is white!”

Lexi
"Away-for College" Coach

-Lexi has been coaching at DSG since 2013.
-She has also been a babysitter, nanny, and a cheerleader.

Rachel
Recreational Coach*

-Rachel was a gymnast at American Gold Gymnastics in Fargo from 2001-2006 when she moved to Bismarck, then s
he was a DSG gymnast from 2006-2014. She is currently competing for Bismarck High School and is also USAG Level 8 competitive gymnast. 
-Rachel has been coaching at DSG since 2013.
-She also babysits in her free time.

Collegiate ambitions: Rachel plans on becoming an astrophysicist someday.

Recreational Coach**

Gymnastics and job experience:
-Maiya started gymnastics when she was little and made it to USAG Level 4 at DSG before retiring.
-Maiya has been coachign at DSG since June 2014. She also babysits on occasion.

Favorite aspect of gymnastics/coaching: “I think it is fun to be able to do tricks most people can’t perform.”

Morgan

-Morgan joined gymnastics in 2011 during 6th grade, reaching Nova Stars before joining the MHS Braves Varsity gymnastics team in 2012 during it’s first year after reinstatement!
-Morgan has been coaching at DSG since November 2014. She has also been a babysitter.

Collegiate ambitions: Morgan is interested in studying mechanical and chemical engineering.

Gymnastics and job experience: LaShae joined Beginner Braves during it’s first ever session, then joined the Braves team. Shae has also worked as a painter, cleaner, and at Antiques on Main. This is LaShae’s first gymnastics coaching job (Since February 2015).

Favorite aspect of gymnastics/coaching: LaShae likes that she gets to learn new things and improve herself through coaching young gymnasts.

Gymnastics and job experience: Olivia was a gymnast in pre-school and has been a dancer for 8 years! This is Olivia’s first gymnastics coaching job (Since February 2015).
Other interests: Reading, sketching, snowboarding, and decorating.

Gymnastics and job experience: Jaysea joined gymnastics at DSG when she was 2 years old, reaching USAG Level 7 before joining the MHS Braves Varsity gymnastics team in 2013. She has babysat the children of friends and family for multiple years, but this is Jaysea’s first gymnastics coaching job (Since July 2015).
Other interests: Track, swimming, and going on the river with her family
